Tender summary

The City of Pasadena Department of Information Technology (DoIT) is requesting bids from qualified consultants to provide archaeological monitoring services in support of the Public Parks Wi-Fi Project . The Public Parks Wi-Fi Project involves the deployment of wireless access points and related infrastructure to expand free public Wi-Fi access within City parks. Project activities may include limited ground-disturbing work , such as trenching for conduit, power, or communications infrastructure, which may exceed approximately six (6) inches in depth. Due to the potential for subsurface cultural resources within park areas, the City is required to implement archaeological monitoring to comply with applicable federal, state, and local environmental and cultural resource regulations , including the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and related discovery protocols. This bid is intended to satisfy those compliance requirements and support documentation for the City’s Environmental Review Record (ERR).
