Tender summary

Project includes: The replacement of an existing failing 8-inch clay sewer pipe. Work includes removal of the existing pipe and associated manholes, followed by abandonment of the old line using Controlled Low-Strength Material (CLSM). A new 8-inch sewer line-approximately 1,060 linear feet in length-will be installed along the existing airport fence line. Construction activities include trenchless installation beneath the Genesee & Wyoming Railroad, concrete-encased pipe installation beneath a future Taxiway, and the placement of three new manholes and two doghouse structures to connect to existing infrastructure. Site restoration and environmental protection measures are incorporated into the project, including erosion and sedimentation controls, trench pavement restoration, limited pavement marking, and loaming and seeding of disturbed areas. Traffic control measures will be implemented throughout the duration of the work.
