Bidders may obtain access to the drawings and project manual by contacting the office of The LaBiche Architectural Group, Inc, 7999 Gladys Ave, Suite 101, Beaumont, TX 77706 or via telephone at 409-860-0197. Bids are to be sealed and addressed to the Purchasing Agent with the bid number and name marked on the outside of the envelope or box. Bidders shall forward an original and two (2) copies of their bid to the address shown below. Jefferson County does not accept bids submitted electronically. Late bids will be rejected as non-responsive. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Jefferson County Purchasing Department (1st Floor, Historic Courthouse) 1149 Pearl Street, Beaumont, Texas 77701, at the time and date below. Bidders are invited to attend the sealed bid opening. BID NAME: Roofing Renovations to Jefferson County Courthouse BID NUMBER: IFB 26-021/MR DUE BY TIME/DATE: 11:00 AM CT, Wednesday, May 6, 2026 MAIL OR DELIVER TO: Jefferson County Purchasing Department 1149 Pearl Street, 1st Floor Beaumont, Texas 77701 There will be a MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference and Walk-Through at 2:00 pm CT on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Jefferson County Commissioners’ Courtroom (4th Floor, Historic Courthouse), 1149 Pearl Street, Beaumont, TX 77701. The County shall require the Bidder to furnish a Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total contract cost. The bid bond must be executed with a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas. Within ten (10) days after the date of contract execution and prior to the issuance of Notice to Proceed and/or Purchase Order, the Bidder shall furnish the following bonds: Performance Bond to the County for the full amount of the contract if the contract exceeds fifty-thousand dollars ($50,000). Payment Bond to the County for the full amount of the contract if the contract exceeds twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00).
