Continuing Education Tracking System

Tender summary

The Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners (the Board) seeks a vendor to provide a Continuing Education (CE) Tracking System as required by Texas Occupations Code Title 3, Subtitle A, Chapter 112, Subchapter C. At a minimum, the CE Tracking System must meet the requirements of Chapter 112 of the Occupations Code and provide for the use by and must be accessible to licensees (Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants), Agency Staff, and CE Providers. The CE Tracking System must provide a streamlined solution that easily allows licensees to record and track CE information for Texas licensure and renewal, CE Providers to report course completion information, and Agency Staff to track, report, assess, and verify licensee CE compliance. The CE Tracking System must be provided at zero cost to the Agency, provide free access to licensees, and have transparent pricing for all costs to CE providers, if any. The Vendor must disclose its funding structure to the Board in this RFO. This RFO lists the Board’s needs from the CE Tracking System. This RFO does not require or authorize the Vendor to determine if reported activities are pre-approved or approved by the Board to meet CE requirements.
