Tender summary
This is an invitation to submit a bid to Murray County for the 2026 LMIG COUNTYWIDE PAVING PROJECT providing repaving/ overlay on more than 37.549 miles of Murray County Roadways as indicated herein. Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Commissioner (in Murray County Annex Building at the above address) up to 9:30 a.m., May 5, 2026, at which time they will be opened and publicly read. This project will be funded with 2026 LMIG and County funds. Construction includes asphalt overlay/repaving, leveling and restriping on up to 37.549 miles of road, including Adams Road, Baxter Road, Central Way, Chambers Drive, Cherokee Drive, Cochran Road, Coffee Church Road, Crandall Ellijay Road, Dogwood Lane, Douthitt Road, Dunn Street, Fagala Road, Forest Hills Drive, Greeson Road, Hamby Road, Haygood Road, Hillcrest Drive, Holly Creek Cool Springs Road, Holly Drive, Katie Lane, Kinser Drive, Ledford Road, Magnolia Lane, Manley Road, McEntire Road, Nightwind Drive, Old East Road, Old Federal Road North, Pannell Drive, Pat Loughridge Road, Pine Street East, Pine Hills Drive, Ridge Lane, Sourwood Lane, Springfield Drive, Sunrise Lane, Thornton Road North, White Road, Wilson Road in Murray County. The work will include approximately 487,916 SY of Resurfacing with limited leveling using 45,000 tons of asphalt, up to 16,669 tons of leveling. Paint striping / marking replacement and manhole/valve box adjustments as necessary are specified for all pavement overlay areas. Traffic control on roadways along with traffic control at railroad crossing involving railroad flaggers. All work shall conform to the Georgia Department of Transportation¿s (GDOT) Standard Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, 2021 Edition; GDOT¿s Supplemental Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, 2021; and all applicable GDOT Standards and Details; and other contract requirements, specifications and general conditions.
