Tender summary

The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Watershed Management, will shortly undergo a Multi-Step Sealed Bid process comprised of a prequalification phase as the initial step, followed by an Invitation for Bid (IFB), towards the procurement intended to support the continued maintenance, repair, and operational reliability of the City's Howden Turblex blower systems through timely access to OEM-certified parts, qualified service personnel,and related ancillary support. Approximately four (4) groups of classification include Group I- Turblex BlowersKA100SV-L500 (RM Clayton), Group II Turblex Blowers KA445SV-GL225 (Utoy Creek), Group III Turblex Blowers KA66SV-GL400 (South River), and Group IV- Miscellaneous. Interested vendors during the prequalification phase must demonstrate experience as an authorized service provider and/or distributor for the listed Turblex equipment. The manufacturer-certified representative or distributor must provide proof with a certificate or manufacturer letter. The City's expectation is that the selected vendor ensures federal and state OSHA compliance with safety standards and provides at least (4) hours of instruction on safe equipment use. Vendors capable of providing valves, parts, equipment and ancillary services at various City of Atlanta facilities are encouraged to prepare for this upcoming solicitation process. A Pre-Solicitation Conference will be noticed and then held to provide more details and address questions.
