Das DLR-Institut - Nationales Erprobungszentrum für Unbemannte Luftfahrtsysteme, Cochstedt, beabsichtigt die Anschaffung von 2 Stück identischen unbemannten Luftfahrtsystemen (UAS), als zentrale Plattform zur Erforschung, Validierung und Demonstration innovativer Vertiport-Operationen, U-Space-Dienste und urbaner Luftmobilität. Im Rahmen des Projekts VERTIFIED wird die Beschaffung von zwei UAS als Bestandteil für den Aufbau einer fortschrittlichen Forschungs-, Test- und Demonstrationsinfrastruktur realisiert. Die Fluggeräte dienen als flexible Plattform sowohl zur Validierung von Vertiport-Operationen als auch zur Integration modernster Technologien im Bereich urbaner Luftmobilität (UAM). Ziel ist es, neue Anflugverfahren, autonome Flugsteuerungen sowie U-Space-Dienste für den europäischen Luft-raum zu entwickeln und zu validieren.
