<p>The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, intends to issue Solicitation No.<strong>15B50026Q00000002</strong> for the supply of Scott Safety SCBA Cylinders.&nbsp; The resulting award will be a single firm-fixed price contract.</p> <p>The government intends to procure self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) cylinders manufactured by 3M Scott Fire and Safety.</p> <p>This requirement is based on the need to maintain full system compatibility, certification integrity, and operational readiness of existing SCBA respiratory protection systems currently in use.&nbsp; The cylinders must be fully intererchangeable with existiing equipment without modification, requalification, or compromise of NFPA/NIOSH certfication standards.&nbsp;</p> <p>Only 3M Scott Fire &amp; Safey clyinders meet the technbical and safety requirememnts necessary to ensure continuity of operations and personnel safety.&nbsp;</p> <p>No substituions will be accepted unlesss explicitly determined to be technically acceptable by the Government.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Delivery Location (F.O.B. Destination):&nbsp;</u> See schedule</strong></p> <p>This acquisition is a <strong>Total Small Business</strong> Set-Aside.
