<p>Title: Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information pertaining to a new procurement to acquire Nationwide Medical Services for U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Office of the Secretary of Transportation (OST)/Office of Intelligence, Security, and Emergency Response (S-60)</p> <p><strong><u>DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT</u></strong></p> <p>The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE), in support of the Office of Intelligence, Security, and Emergency Response (S-60), is conducting market research to identify qualified contractors to provide occupational medical examination services for applicants and employees assigned to the Protective Service Division (PSD), Occupational Series 1801.</p> <p>This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or a request for formal offers.&nbsp; Should USDOT move forward with procurement, a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued at a later date.</p> <p>The purpose of this RFI is to gather preliminary information on the capabilities of vendors able to provide services of this nature and scale across multiple locations nationwide.</p> <p>The NAICS code for this effort is 621111 &ndash; Offices of Physicians (except Medical Health).</p> <p>The anticipated period of performance proposed is five (5) years inclusive of a one (1) year base period and four (4) one year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the United States Federal Government.</p> <p><strong><u>BUSINESS SIZE PREFERENCE</u></strong></p> <p>The Office of the Secretary (OST) reserves the right to solicit from any business type based on the results of our market research.</p> <p><strong><u>RESPONSES TO THIS RFI</u></strong></p> <p>After reviewing this draft SOW, interested parties shall submit the following in response to this RFI:</p> <ul> <li>Company Capability Statement tailored to the requirement (SOW) that demonstrates the ability to successfully accomplish the goals of the project;</li> <li>Clear Identification of Business Size;</li> <li>Estimated cost of services;</li> <li>Three (3) past performance references for work similar in size and scope as described herein; and</li> <li>Questions and comments on the attached DRAFT SOW.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>FORMAT AND PAGE LIMIT</u></strong></p> <p>Responses to this RFI shall not exceed 3 pages not including past performances and resumes.</p> <p>Any questions concerning this notice should be directed to the Contracting Officer, Stephen Jones.</p> <p>Any interested company should e-mail their responses to Stephen.Jones@dot.gov by <strong>5PM Eastern Standard Time, April 29, 2026.</strong></p> <p>Please reference &ldquo;RFI S-60 Medical Services (Physical Exams)&rdquo; in the subject line when submitting your response.</p> <p>Failure to use the requested subject line may result in your submission being overlooked.</p> <p>DOT looks forward to your submission in response to this notice.</p> <p><strong><u>ATTACHMENTS:</u></strong></p> <p>DRAFT Statement of Work</p> Solicitation Number: RFIS60PhysicalExams Type: Sources Sought Base Type: Sources Sought NAICS: 621111 Response Deadline: 2026-04-29T17:00:00-04:00 Office Address: WASHINGTON, DC Place of Performance: Washington, District of Columbia, 20590 POC: Stephen Jones, stephen.jones@dot.gov, 202-450-8748
