<p><strong>1. PURPOSE</strong></p> <p>This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for market research purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. The Government seeks information from qualified small businesses to assess availability, capability, and potential set-aside considerations in support of a FAR Part 36 construction requirement.</p> <p>This notice is being reissued due to a change in the applicable NAICS classification and because no responses were received to the initial Sources Sought Notice. The revised NAICS is intended to better align with the scope of the requirement and to promote broader and more accurate industry participation.</p> <p>This notice is not a solicitation, request for proposals, or request for quotations. No contract will be awarded as a result of this notice.</p> <p>Responses from all interested parties are welcomed, regardless of business size.</p> <p><strong>2. BACKGROUND / REQUIREMENT OVERVIEW</strong></p> <p>The Government anticipates a requirement for the removal, purchase, delivery, installation, and commissioning of exhaust and vacuum pump systems in support of FDA laboratory operations located in Irvine, California.</p> <p>The anticipated scope may include, but is not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Commercially available exhaust and/or vacuum pump units</li> <li>Selective demolition and removal of existing HVAC/exhaust components</li> <li>Installation and integration with existing building infrastructure, automation, and controls</li> <li>Testing, adjusting, balancing (TAB), commissioning, and acceptance</li> <li>Warranty support and technical documentation</li> <li>Coordination of all work to minimize disruption to ongoing FDA operations</li> </ul> <p>The Government anticipates the use of commercial products and services in accordance with FAR Part 12, unless market research indicates otherwise.</p> <p><strong>3. REQUESTED INFORMATION</strong></p> <p>The FDA seeks only the minimum information necessary to assess:</p> <ul> <li>Industry capability to perform the full scope of the requirement</li> <li>Availability of qualified small businesses for set-aside consideration</li> <li>Commerciality of products proposed for use.</li> </ul> <p>Interested respondents must complete and submit the provided vendor questionnaire in the provided <strong>xlsx format</strong>.</p> <p><strong>4.
