<p>Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD (V2231) announces its intention to negotiate and award a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-26-G-1002 on a sole-source basis to The Boeing Company (TBC) for F/A-18E/F Block III, EA-18G, and Foreign Military Sales engineering development of Generation 2 Low Profile Heads Up Displays (LPHUD). The period of performance for this proposed contract is two years. The intended place of performance is at TBC’s Saint Louis, MO location.</p> <p>The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the action described herein is 541330; the PSC code is 1680. </p> <p>This procurement is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." </p> <p>As the contractor for the LPHUD, Boeing has the manufacturing knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill this requirement within the time required. </p> <p>This synopsis is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals. In addition to this pre-solicitation notice, the Government has also issued a sources sought notice to determine if any other sources have the potential to fulfill this requirement. No responses to the sources sought notice were received. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the United States Government.</p> <p>THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
