Summary

Finnish Defence Forces (FDF) has started an acquisition project, Minesweeping Capability 2030 (MSC2030) to build a new minesweeping capability for the Finnish Navy in accordance with this participation application request and its appendices. The new capability shall include minesweeping platform/vessel and it shall be able to sweep influence mines including all relevant signatures (e.g. acoustic, magnetic, electric) as well as contact mines. The maintenance for the systems and its subsystems shall be established in Finland. The support can be offered through local contractors. Site, workshop and factory level maintenance will be undertaken in Finland if feasible. The aim of the project is to replace the minesweeping capability of Kiiski and Kuha Class.
