Introduction UNDP Nigeria Country Office is seeking to contract the services of a reputable and experienced security service provider to Provide Unarmed Private Security Service (UPSS) at UN House Abuja on behalf of UN Agencies, Funds and Programmes in Nigeria including but not limited to UNDP, UNDSS, UNICEF, UNFPA, FAO, UN Women, UNAIDS, UNESCO, WMO, UNIDO, UNIC, WHO, UNODC, ILO, UN RCO, UNOPS, UN GCO, UNIC, WFP, UNHCR, UNCHA, UNHABITAT & WIPO. The selected service provider may also be required to provide similar scope of services at and other UN offices in Nigeria. The chosen company, hereinafter referred to as the UPSS provider for purposes of this SOW, will be required to recruit, train and manage a guard force consisting of unarmed supervisory and subordinate security personnel at the UNSMS (UN Security Management System) organization’s facilities in Nigeria. The resultant contract will be signed between the selected company (hereinafter known as the UPSS) and United Nations Development Programme Nigeria (hereinafter known as the lead Agency). The contract is proposed on a Long-Term Agreement Modality (LTA) for an initial period of one year (1) renewable twice up to three years in total. The LTA is subject to a 6-month probationary period.
