Tender summary
<p>This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.</p> <p>The Malheur National Forest has a requirement to purchase cattleguards and cattleguard components for Disaster Recovery in the Rail Ridge Fire Area.</p> <p><br /> The Forest will utilize local equipment and personnel to remove and replace the existing damaged cattleguards. This is just a purchase for supplies and delivery of the supplies to the Forest Service compound in John Day, OR.</p> <p>The USFS intends to install 4 complete cattleguard assemblies but also intends to replace only the bases under 3 existing cattleguards on the forest. For this reason, there are 4 complete cattleguard assemblies listed in the quantities section of this document, as well as 3 additional “base assemblies.”</p>
