<p>This solicitation is for the purchase of 200 personal dehumidifier.</p> <p>Dehumidifiers shall meet or exceed the following specifications and salient characteristics which are similar or equal to a TABYIK model CS50-SR dehumidifier:</p> <p>1. Usage: Units will be utilized in a standard military barracks room.</p> <p>2. Portable: Units shall be compact in design with a minimal over-all size and footprint that meet the requirements as spelled out in this document. They must be easily relocatable with little or no effort. Casters are preferred; however, wheels are acceptable.</p> <p>3. Physical Features: <strong>The height of the unit should not exceed 21&rdquo;.</strong> The units should be white or black in color.</p> <p>4. Power Requirements: Units must be 110/120 VAC and work in a standard wall outlet with an American standard three prong outlet with a ground.</p> <p>5. Required Operational Features:</p> <ul> <li>Extracts at least 35 pints of water per 24 hours</li> <li>Must have an external drainage connection and included drainage hose of at least 10 ft</li> <li><strong>Must have an internal pump and capability to automatically drain the collected water into an elevated sink</strong></li> <li>Auto shutoff that prevents overflow</li> <li>Handle(s) and wheels for easy portability</li> <li>ENERGY-STAR certified</li> </ul> <p>Questions:</p> <p>Kindly please confirm if the government will accept the dehumidifiers made in China? <strong>The government will accept dehumidifiers made in China.</strong></p> <p>Kindly please confirm if the government will accept the dehumidifiers made in Trade Agreement Act designated country ? <strong>The supply purchase does not meet the dollar threshold to TAA and is thus not applicable</strong></p> <p><strong>The deliver address is:</strong></p> <p>Building 1152<br /> 328 Italy Street<br /> Fort Stewart, Georgia 31314</p> <p>* Between the referenced model (TABYIK CS50-SR) and the listed specifications (35-pint capacity, internal pump), which should take precedence? &ndash; <strong>The minimum capacity required is 35 pint/hr. The internal pump is a strict requirement to allow the dehumidifier to automatically drain water through a hose and into an elevated sink (above ground level).</strong></p> <p><br /> * Is the 21&rdquo; height requirement strict, or would a unit around 23.25&rdquo; be acceptable? &ndash;<strong> 23.25&rdquo; is the max height requirement. Shorter is preferred.</strong></p> <p><br /> * Are you specifically looking for a unit with an internal pump and a 10 ft drainage hose, or would a unit with continuous gravity drainage (hose connection) be acceptable? &ndash; <strong>An internal pump is a strict requirement. A drainage hose of at least 10&rsquo; is also a strict requirement.</strong></p> <p><br /> * Is the 10 ft drainage hose requirement mandatory, or can a different length be provided if the unit otherwise meets performance requirements? &nbsp;- <strong>An included 10&rsquo; drainage is a strict requirement.</strong></p> <p><br /> * Is ENERGY STAR certification required, or preferred? &ndash; <strong>ENERGY STAR certification is preferred.</strong></p> <p></p>
