Die Stadt Haan betreibt ein Lenovo Flex Chassis mit 4 Servern. Davon 3x Virtualisierungshost und 1x Backupserver. Als SAN-Speicher für die Virtualisierungshosts kommt eine IBM V7000 mit 30 TB zum Einsatz. Diese ist per Fibre-Channel an die Serverumgebung mit 2 SAN-Switchen angebunden. Als Virtualisierungsplattform wird VMware ESX eingesetzt. Die Server- und Speicherlandschaft soll erneuert werden. Die Virtualisierungsplattform ESX soll durch die Open Source Plattform Proxmox VE abgelöst werden.
