<p>The Department of State, Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs, US Embassy Quito, Ecuador requires to contract Gardening Services.</p> <p>Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date.&nbsp;</p> <p>The requirement is for providing Gardening Services for the Embassy Compounds and official residencees in Quito, Ecuador.&nbsp;</p> <p>The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government.</p> <p>All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be issued via the SAM.gov. Note: The reponse date in this sypnosis is not a firm date; please see the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the actual date.</p> <p>The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible&nbsp;company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price.&nbsp; We intend to award a contract based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.</p> <p>The U.S. Government is planning a site visit and the date for this conference will be held&nbsp; in the solicitation.</p> <p>Notwithstanding FAR 4.203-1(b)(5)(ii), the Contracting Officer has determined that it is in the best interest of the U.S. Government that offerors be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov&nbsp; and have an active SAM account at the time of submitting a proposal. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission shall deem the offeror&rsquo;s proposal to be considered non-responsive to the solicitation instructions and no further consideration will be given.
