We would like to invite all interested “Participants” (individual Participants including Subconsultants, or Consortia members) intending to provide a proposal. The purpose of this briefing is to assist the Participants to fully understand AT’s project/contract requirements and proposed procurement approach. This session will be ONLINE. The successful participant in this procurement may have the opportunity to continue their involvement through to subsequent detailed design phases as the project progresses. Stage 2 is the medium-term solution in the Airport to Botany Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor staged implementation. The primary objective of this stage is to extend the AirPort Link service through to Botany Town Centre from its current termination at Manukau Station, developing infrastructure to enable a high-quality, reliable service that establishes travel behaviour ahead of the BRT. Core scope includes the design of interim stations to replicate the look and feel of a BRT service, with supporting active-modes access improvements, and corridor design of infrastructure to enable Special Vehicle Lanes (SVLs).
