Can the Government clarify if these licenses must be held by the <strong>Prime Contractor entity</strong>, or if the requirement is satisfied by a <strong>subcontractor</strong>&nbsp;who holds the licenses and will be performing the on-site applications?</li> <li>Indicate if they intend to use a Subcontractor or not and must indicate what percentage of the work will be subcontracted and what tasks. So can we use subcontractor who will be performing the services onsite?</li> </ol> <p><strong>Answers:</strong></p> <p><strong>Licensing requirements clarification:</strong></p> <p>Licensed by the State of Washington and required copies of Commercial Applicator, Operator, Structural Pest Inspector (SPI), and Public/Commercial Consultant licenses must be held by both the Prime Contractor and the subcontractror.</p> <p>I<strong>n accordance with FAR clause: 52.219-14(e)(1) Limitations on Subcontracting:</strong></p> <p>(1)&nbsp;Services (except&nbsp;construction), it will not pay more than 50 percent of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance to subcontractors that are not&nbsp;similarly situated entities. Any work that a&nbsp;similarly situated entity&nbsp;further subcontracts will count towards the prime contractor&#39;s 50 percent subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded. When a contract includes both services and&nbsp;supplies, the 50 percent limitation&nbsp;shall&nbsp;apply only to the service portion of the contract.</p> <p></p> <p>Please note: The solicitation due date has changed from 04/23/2026 to 04/20/2026.</p> <p>Question:&nbsp;<br /> Can you please confirm for me if the &ldquo;Monthly Pest Control &ldquo; segment of the pest control schedule is requesting services to occur 12 individual times within a single month? Thank you.&nbsp;<br /> Answer:&nbsp;<br /> &quot; monthly pest control&quot; &nbsp;would be one treatment a month for 12 months.</p> <p>This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.&nbsp; This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.&nbsp; Proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.&nbsp;</p> <p>Solicitation number 1282A726Q0021 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for pest control services at the Fort Simcoe Job Corps White Swan, WA. The period of performance is one year with four option years (through 2031).</p> <p>This acquisition&nbsp; is set-aside for small business concerns.&nbsp; The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 561710 - Exterminating and Pest Control Services.
