This EOI is intended to identify suppliers with the appropriate expertise to be considered for a subsequent procurement stage (e.g. Request for Proposal). Appointment to a future contract may be limited to suppliers shortlisted through this EOI process. Auckland has an extensive and highly utilised coastal environment, with diverse residential, commercial, and visitor populations exposed to tsunami risk. Clear, legible, and appropriately located tsunami evacuation and warning signage is a critical component of Auckland’s emergency preparedness and public safety framework. In addition to signage, Auckland Council is seeking to understand supplier capability to assess tsunami siren networks, including the identification of suitable siren locations and coverage within high-risk areas. Auckland Emergency Management (AEM), as a core function of Auckland Council, will be a key stakeholder and will be closely involved in considering EOI responses and any subsequent procurement. Purpose of this REOI The purpose of this Expression of Interest is to: • Identify suppliers with relevant capability, skills, and experience in tsunami evacuation signage and warning systems • Understand supplier experience with national and international best practice for tsunami signage and siren planning • Shortlist capable suppliers for potential involvement in a future project
