No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests.</p> <p>MHAFB is gauging the interest of total small business set aside with further potential set aside into socioeconomic categorys.</p> <p>Contracting is requiring the replacement of the antiquated fire alarm system of two MHAFB dormitories with a new fire alarm system. The following work shall be IAW with manufacture instructions in conjunction with the SOW.</p> <p>The main scope for this project is to replace the existing fire alarm devices and associated Fire Alarm Panel with a new devices (smoke and heat) and an addressable Fire Alarm Panel / Mass Notification System (FA/MNS) throughout the dormitories, with radio communications to the Fire Department.&nbsp;</p> <ol> <li>&nbsp;A new FA/MNS will be installed in accordance with Specifications, NFPA 72, UFC 30600-01, UFC 4-021-01, and the&nbsp; &nbsp;Architectural Barriers Act (ABA).</li> <li>A new FA/MNS will be sole sourced as a Silent Knight EVS Series FA/MNS</li> <li>A new FA/MNS will communicate with the MHAFB AES IntelliNet 2.0 base-wide monitoring system.</li> <li>A new FA/MNS will be equipped with a compatible radio transmitter and VHF omni-directional antenna.</li> <li>The project will be performed in two stages, sequentially, as denoted by:</li> <li>Base for Building 2318</li> <li>Option 1 (if exercised) for Building 2416.</li> </ol> <p>All IAW the statement of work (SOW).&nbsp;</p> <p>The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.</p> <p>In order to reduce chances of missed emails, the Subject line shall be &quot;<strong>Fire Alarm Replacement Bldg 2318 &amp; 2416 Sources Sought Response&quot;</strong></p> <p>Each company&rsquo;s response to this Sources Sought shall be a maximum of 3 pages and shall include the following information:</p> <ul> <li>Company name</li> <li>CAGE code</li> <li>Address</li> <li>Point of Contact</li> <li>Phone Number</li> <li>E-mail address</li> <li>Company&#39;s Small business category (Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business [SDB] to include the 8(a) Program, Historically Underutilized Business Zones [HUBZone], Service- Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business [SDVOSB]).</li> <li>A brief statement of the company&#39;s interest in bidding on the project as well as details of the company&#39;s capability to perform a contract of this type, magnitude, and complexity</li> </ul>
