Tender summary
<p>The Library of Congress, Contracts and Grants Directorate, intend to award a sole-source firm fixed price contract to Digital Film Technology (DFT), Inc. The work under the contract will be performed at the Contractor's site and at the Library of Congress Packard Campus for Audio Visual Conservation (NAVCC). </p> <p>The period of performance of the intended contract shall run for three years (a base and two options) at an estimated amount of less than $350,000 (the simplified acquisition threshold). The price of the full duration of the three year contract is less than $350,000. </p> <p>The scope of the contract entails a maintenance support plan for its Scanity Film Scanner, serial number 207, with the Wetgate Attachment, including preventative maintenance on the equipment. </p> <p>This announcement constitutes the only public notice, proposals are not being requested from other parties, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This public notice accomplishes the following:</p> <p>1. Notice of the Library of Congress' intent to sole source this requirement to Digital Film Technology, Inc.;</p> <p>2. Synopsize the requirements in accordance with the FAR; and</p> <p>3. Publically posting the approved Justification and Approval (J&A) to the public in advance of the contract award. </p> <p>As a result of this posting, a second posting of the J&A is not required after the award has been made, as the public posting is being accomplished via this public notice. </p> <p>The following attachments are included in this notice:</p> <p>Attachment 1: Statement of Work (SOW)</p> <p>Attachment 2: Sole Source Justification (Redacted for Public Release)</p> <p>No further notices shall be pursued at this time in regard to this contracting action. </p>
