<p>This action is to establish a Contract for the acquisition of the Nose Radome NSN: 1560-01-417-5455LG sole source to Lockheed Martin Corporation. It is for the manufacture of the C-130 Radome. The quantity is 42. The 3333921-1 nose radome, used on C-130H and C-130J model aircraft, has a projected life through 2034. Supply chain manage-ment system forecast databases show flying hours and forecasts out to 2034. This radome assembly encloses the radar, the glide-slope, and the microwave landing system. A critical radar window area must bemaintained in the radome to meet trans-mission efficiency and degradation requirements for the enclosed systems.</p> <p>The Government does not own the technical data package for this item. This requirement will be solicited sole source to manufacturer Lockheed Martin (Cage: 98897) pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1); FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency</p>
