<p class="sam-rich-text-editor-indent-e"><strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Aerospace Ground Equipment Facility Joint Base San Antonio, TX</strong><strong> - Pre-Solicitation Synopsis</strong></p> <p><strong>In accordance with RFO 5.101, this pre-solicitation notice is meant to inform industry of an anticipated, upcoming solicitation. This notice will not bind the government to any actions or awards.</strong></p> <p><strong>DESCRIPTION:</strong> The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District intends to issue a solicitation for the construction of an Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Facility.&nbsp; Primary facilities of the project include the roughly 8,400 gross square foot (GSF) AGE Facility with an administrative portion and a maintenance portion. Supporting facilities of the project include land clearing, paving, general site improvements, and extension of utilities to serve the project. The building will be of permanent construction with reinforced concrete foundations; concrete floor slabs; steel frames; cmu and metal stud backup and brick/insulated metal panel veneer; sloped roof; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); and plumbing, mechanical, security and electrical systems. Accessibility for the disabled will be provided. Anti‐Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) and physical security measures will be incorporated into the design. Sustainability/Energy measures will be provided. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life span of 40 years in accordance with DoD&#39;s Unified Facilities Code (UFC 1‐200‐02) including energy efficiencies, building envelope and integrated building systems performance. The project scope also includes demolition and disposal of existing buildings on site</p> <p>Contract duration is 546 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.</p> <p><br /> <strong>TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS:</strong> This solicitation will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 236220 - COMMERCIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION, Standard Size: $45,000,000.00.<br /> <br /> <strong>TYPE OF SET-ASIDE</strong><strong>:</strong> This acquisition will be advertised as 100% General Small Business.</p> <p><strong>CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE:</strong> The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be in</p> <p>the estimated cost range more than $10,000,000.</p> <p><br /> <strong>SELECTION PROCESS:</strong> The contract award will be based on lowest total price to the Government. &nbsp;<br /> <br /> <strong>ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE:</strong> The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation on or about 20 April 2026.&nbsp; Additional details can be found in the solicitation when it is posted to http://Sam.gov.</p> <p><br /> <strong>SOLICITATION WEBSITE:</strong> The official solicitation, when posted, will be available free of charge by electronic posting only and may be found at the Contracting Opportunities website, http://Sam.gov.&nbsp; Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued.&nbsp; Telephone and Fax requests for this solicitation will not be honored.&nbsp; Project files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader.&nbsp; To download the solicitation for this project, contractors are required to register at the Contracting Opportunities website at http://Sam.gov.&nbsp; Amendments, if/when issued, will be posted to the above referenced website for electronic downloading. If the Offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity shall have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity.
