Tender summary

Remove existing boundary fence (199.5 meters) and supply and install approximately 188.3 meters of new 2.3-metre security fencing along one side of the boundary surrounding the Bureau of Meteorology Field Station, Port Hedland Airport, Western Australia.The fence will be a 2.3-metre-high chain link fence, constructed to AS1725-2010 with a bottom and top rail, 3.15mm heavy duty wire plus 3-Strands of barbed wire as per the attached specifications (refer attachment B).  Posts are to be spaced at 3.2 meters unless agreed by the Bureau.Concrete footings to be 750mm deep for corner and gate posts, 600mm deep for the intermediate posts.Ensure that all the necessary warranties on materials are provided and covered as part of the completed work.Ensure that all the necessary required permits are obtained to undertake the work in a safe manner.Full details can be found in the attached Statement of Requirements.Remove old fence and rubbish from the site and ensure surrounding ground is returned to its natural state in all areas disturbed.
