The contract includes the provision of two outbound and two inbound independent HD-SDI signal paths to allow for simultaneous send and receive capabilities, as well as redundancy to ensure reliable, uninterrupted service. The contractor shall provide telecommunication support services to enable the transmission and reception of high-definition (HD) broadcast signal feeds to and from the CDC Harkin Global Communication Center and major media outlets. This includes the installation of all necessary transmitting and receiving equipment to establish functional broadcast connections. Installation must be completed within three (3) business days following the award of the contract. Prior to installation, the contractor must submit an itemized list of all equipment, including manufacturer names and model numbers. Additionally, the contractor shall be responsible for the continuous 24/7 monitoring and maintenance of the broadcast connections to ensure uninterrupted service.
