Tender summary

The purpose of this amendment is to include thoughtful questions and answers being asked by industry and make them available to the public. Please see the below questions and answers with associated/attached documents below: 1. Inspection Frequency ¿ Are all listed crane assets strictly annual inspections, or do any require semi-annual or additional inspections during the performance period? See attached Crane inspection policy for Northern California Area Office. Also see attached proposed schedule for crane inspections in 2026. We need to stagger the inspections to align with our maintenance and frequent inspection schedule We perform the following inspections Daily: Every time crane is used. This is done by Crane Operator (Plant Mech) Frequent: Every 6 months. This aligns with our yearly Preventive Maintenance done on Crane. This is done by inhouse Plant Mech Annual Inspection: This includes the same inspections done per frequent inspections plus any other standard inspections the third-party inspector normally performs. This work is done by Third Party crane inspection. The BOR will provide a Plant Mech to support third party crane inspector. The plant mech can operate the crane as needed for the inspector. 2. Access / Lift Requirements ¿ For cranes requiring elevated access, will the Government provide lifts or scaffolding, or should the contractor include lift equipment and associated costs in their pricing? The contractor is required to provide Lifts as needed to perform the necessary annual third-party crane inspections. This is called out in section 2.02 WORK TO BE PERFORMED A. Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, special tools, man lifts, safety equipment and consumable materials including cleaning products, spray lubricants. and grease as required to complete the work. 3. SMC Mobile Crane Scope ¿ Please confirm the scope and inspection frequency for the SMC Mobile Crane and whether it follows the same annual schedule as the fixed crane assets. Yes same inspection requirements. One third party inspection per year 4. Facility Locations ¿ Could you please provide the full physical addresses (or confirmed locations) for each listed facility to ensure accurate travel and mobilization pricing?
