The Government of Kenya (hereinafter called “Borrower”) through Ministry of Water and Sanitation, State Department for Water and Sanitation; has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Coastal Region Water Security and Climate Resilience Project (CRWSCRP) , and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of Motor Cycles for Livelihood Restoration Program at Mwache Kwale County. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing. 2 The State Department for Water & Sanitation now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Contract No. KE-MOWI-CRWSCRP-005-2025-2026-GO-RFB ; Supply and Delivery of Motor Cycles for LRP in Mwache, Kwale County as follows : S/No. Item Description QTY 1. Supply and Delivery of Electric Motorcycles 347 No. 3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” dated September 2025 Seventh Edition (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security issued by a reputable financial institution in Kenya and valid for 30 days beyond the Tender Validity period in form of a Bank Guarantee of Kenya Shillings Eight Hundred Thousand Shillings (Kshs. 800,000) or an equivalent amount freely convertible currency. 8.
