The project has a completion period of 365 Calendar Days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. This IFB is for one (1) Firm Fixed-Price Construction Contract. This procurement is advertised as Unrestricted under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard of $37 Million for Dredging and Other Surface Cleanup Activities. Bids will be evaluated based on lowest price submitted. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this construction project is estimated to be between $5 Million and $10 Million. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendor's List (IVL) at https://sam.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hard copies will not be available. Amendments, if/when issued, will be posted to the above referenced website for electronic downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments prior to closing. Bidders must have and maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://sam.gov and must include the NAICS code they are bidding under to receive a Government contract award. If the bidder is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity shall have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award a bidder is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective bidder.
