The works will involve engineered rock bags, rock armouring (or suitable equivalent alternatives based on whole-of-life cost cycle) to mitigate erosion and secure critical transport routes for residents, visitors and emergency services. This procurement is part of a strategic infrastructure initiative aligned with NZTA’s 2024–27 National Land Transport Programme. The successful Respondent will deliver a solution that meets environmental consent conditions (the existing application which you will support), supports long-term planning and improves resilience – reducing the chance of closures.
