Summary

Overview In alignment with the ICCA-GSI Phase 2 Country Programme Strategy (CPS) Annex developed in Botswana for the 8th SGP Operational Phase (OP8) running from 2024-2028, applications from qualified organisations are invited to carry out a monitoring and evaluation framework activities based on the ICCA-GSI methodology and tools. Competent organisations are encouraged to submit an application on the basis of the Call for Proposals below. The proactive ICCA initiative is expected to last up to 24 months and to have a maximum budget of US$50,000. Depending on the context, it may be possible for the initiative to embrace the entire country, or to prioritise only one or a few targeted landscapes. The proposals will be reviewed and approved by the SGP National Steering Committee (NSC) in consultation with a national level Technical Advisory Group (TAG). It is expected that the successful applicant will carry out the work in collaboration with the relevant staff and members of the ICCA Consortium (www.iccaconsortium.org) Proposal Submission 1. The proposals including proof of registration should be submitted via email with an email heading clearly marked “Call for GEF/SGP Proposal – (ICCA-GSI) Catalytic Organisation in Botswana” in a pdf format to sgpprocurement.bw@undp.org. 2. Proposals should reach the addresses specified above no later than 31st  March 2026, (1200hrs) Botswana Time. Late applications will not be accepted. 3.
