SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals ; the 61st Contracting Flight, Los Angeles Air Force Base, CA, is seeking information for market research purposes only for the following services listed below: The purpose of this effort is to procure Aquarium Tank Maintenance Services. The acquisition strategy will be determined based on responses received from this notice and/or other market research methods. The government is seeking experienced companies for the following scope of work: The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, labor, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other items and services necessary to perform aquarium maintenance services at Building #281 located at Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, California The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform all tank and aquarium cleaning, maintenance, replacement tasks and functions as defined in this Statement of Work (SOW). The Contractor shall provide tank and aquarium cleaning and maintenance twice a month, Thursday of each month for Building #281. Contractor shall ensure that all tanks are cleaned and maintained in proper working order. Service is to occur during the hours of 09:30 -1500. The Contractor shall ensure that the aquariums are properly stocked with live fish, provide food for sustaining live fish, and replace any ill, dying, or dead fish. At a minimum the fish count shall be as follows: 7 FISH IN 12 GAL AQUARIUM * Tanks may have any or all of the following: Cichlid fish, Clown fish, Angel fish, Barb fish, Black tetra fish, Catfish (no longer than 4 inches), Cherry barb fish, Cory fish, Danio fish, Firemouth fish or Plecostomus (Suckerfish). The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 812910 which has a small business size standard of $9,000,000.00. The Product Service Code is J088. Responses shall include Capabilities Statement with the following information: Company’s experience performing the work outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) as attached (indicate whether as a prime or subcontractor). Provide a brief description of the project, customer name, and dollar value of the project. Provide Company’s Business Size-LB, SB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, or WOSB. List Company’s CAGE Code and NAICS codes. Documentation on technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this project. Refer to the Draft SOW. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this communication articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately.
