Tender summary

RFx ID: 33322861 Organisation: Accident Compensation Corporation Open date: Tuesday, 3 February 2026 4:00 PM +13:00 Close date: Friday, 13 March 2026 2:00 PM +13:00 Categories: 78111800 - Passenger road transportation Region: New Zealand Overview: ACC is seeking to contract suppliers (or supplier-led alliances) to deliver nationwide Client Transport Services (CTS) — specifically general taxi services, mobility (wheelchair-accessible vehicle) transport, and companion driving — to support injured people to access treatment, rehabilitation, and essential appointments safely, reliably, and equitably. Under the new services-only model, CTS suppliers will use their own booking and dispatch systems, while ACC will require standardised, electronic reporting, accurate invoicing, and strong performance standards across all regions of New Zealand. This is a major national contract, providing high-volume, safety-critical transport services to thousands of ACC clients every week. ACC is looking for credible providers who: • Have the capability, capacity, fleet maturity, and workforce to deliver safe, reliable transport at a national level • Can demonstrate high-quality client care, especially for vulnerable and mobility-impaired clients • Operate robust health and safety systems, driver training, and safe vehicle management • Can meet strict reporting, billing, privacy, and data security requirements • Support equitable service outcomes, including Māori and Pasifika participation and regional access This is one of New Zealand’s most significant and stable long-term transport contracts. Successful suppliers will benefit from: • A 6.5-year contract opportunity (3.5 years + up to 3 years extension) • High, predictable service volumes nationwide • The ability to expand services, capability, and employment in regions across New Zealand • Partnership with a major Crown entity committed to equity, sustainability, and long-term market stability • Opportunities for innovation in mobility transport, client care, and sustainable fleets • A simplified services-only scope that enables providers to use their own systems while meeting clear reporting standards Suppliers can make a meaningful difference by ensuring injured people can safely access the care they need.
