Supply and Support of a Squirrel SQ16 PLUS Data Logger

Summary

Unite Procurement UK Limited (part of Unite Holding SE), acting on behalf of the Ministry of Defence (MOD), invites suppliers to register interest in joining the Unite Procurement Platform to support the supply and ongoing support of a Squirrel SQ16 PLUS data logger solution. This requirement supports MOD activity enabling the capture of time-series physiological and environmental data (including core and skin temperature) to support safety monitoring and research relating to Exertional Heat Illness (EHI) risk management and heat acclimation. Requirement (Goods and Services) Suppliers are sought to provide, as manufactured as standard: • Squirrel SQ16 PLUS data logger(s) and associated items as required for operation • 1 x SquirrelView Professional licence (or equivalent manufacturer software package supplied with the logger) • Compatibility (as manufactured) with temperature probes and/or WBGT systems for connection to the logger • Operating manuals with the equipment • One introductory training session for up to 10 personnel upon receipt of equipment • Standard support services for a minimum of 5 years • Warranty: minimum 12 months (desirable: 36 months) Quantity/volume: up to 20 items may be purchased (final volumes subject to MOD demand). Unite Procurement UK Limited does not intend to appoint a sole supplier. Multiple suppliers may be onboarded to the Unite Procurement Platform to maintain a competitive supply base.
