Tender summary
This technical facility aims ultimately to the promotion and scale up of the EU Global Gateway offer. The facility will support the global transition to inclusive, smart, clean, safe, secure, resilient and sustainable transport and cities in EU's partner countries. The facility will deliver on demand high level technical assistance (TA) in sustainable transport and urban development at country and at regional level through expert missions and studies. TA will be mobilised usually at short notice to improve investment climate and regulatory frameworks and to adopt EU values, standards, knowledge, best practices and innovation. The required expertise and response will vary across the countries and according to the proposed projects or initiatives. The facility will also support knowledge consolidation on sustainable transport and urban development within the EU Commission, development partners and partner countries.
