Tender summary
The Department for Microbiology at OUS shall move to the Life Science Building at the start of 2027. In connection with this, a procurement is planned for new instrumentation for automatic resistance determination on formed colonies. An analysis quantity of 70 analyses/days is expected (1 analysis = resistance determination of one isolation for a standard panel of antibiotics), expected max. approx. 150-180 analyses/day. The system shall contribute to quick and accurate diagnostics of bacterial infections, thereby supporting effective treatment and control of infections. Equipment such as rapid ID/AST directly from a blood culture is not relevant.
