L'objectif du projet est la construction d’un nouveau bâtiment adapté aux besoins d’EDF en matière de réparation hydraulique. Le site actuel, situé à proximité du centre-ville de Mallemort, s'avère désormais trop exigu pour accompagner les ambitions de développement fixées à l’horizon 2030. À court terme, ce service devra être capable d’accueillir jusqu’à 50 personnes, afin de répondre à la demande croissante en réparation hydraulique, notamment pour les pièces issues des barrages situés principalement dans les Alpes et les Pyrénées. Concevoir un bâtiment adapté en termes de surface afin de faciliter les opérations et améliorer les performances industrielles Le montant estimatif des travaux est de 19 278 000 €
