Security Requirements: This contract includes security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. Correctional Service Canada (CSC) is responsible for delivering health care to offenders and must ensure that health care areas are clean, sanitary, and compliant with CSC’s Environmental Cleaning Best Practices and Infection Prevention & Control Guidelines. This is essential to safeguard the health of patients, staff, partners, and the public. Due to the importance of infection prevention in health care environments, housekeeping activities must be prioritized. Objectives: Provide housekeeping services at designated institutional health care centres, supporting CSC Health Services’ mandate to deliver safe, high-quality care in accordance with Accreditation Canada and Health Canada standards. Given the closed nature of correctional settings, exceptional hygiene and sanitation are critical. Deliverables: The Contractor is responsible for providing labour to perform cleaning and disinfection tasks at health care centres, ensuring both quality and adherence to required cleaning frequencies in accordance with the CSC Environmental Cleaning Best Practices (Guideline 800-7), including any amendment to this Framework issued by CSC during the contract period.
