Tender summary

USU intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Lyrasis, Inc. to renew the subscription for a site license to the Springer Nature Branded Title Journals and the Springer Nature Read & Publish Journals for the 2026 calendar year. The period of performance is one year. Lyrasis is the only entity that offers the Springer Nature Branded Titles and the Springer and Nature Read and Publish Journal Collections. Obtaining this requirement through Lyrasis allows the Learning Resource Center (LRC) to maintain access to resources utilized daily by USU professors, researchers and students. Therefore, Lyrasis, Inc. is the only known source that can provide the requested Springer Nature Branded Titles and the Springer and Nature Read and Publish Journals Collections required by USU. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the procedures of FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). See attached Notice of Intent to Sole Source for full detail.
