Tender summary
Parks Canada Agency requires a Contractor to construct an approximately 2.5 km long passing lane on Highway 16 for eastbound traffic, approximately 9.5 km west of the Highway 16 park gate in Jasper National Park, Alberta. Scope of work includes but is not limited to: the construction of the embankment and pavement structure for the passing lane, removal of existing asphalt, removal and disposal of an existing corrugated steel pipe (CSP), supplying and installing new CSP, installation of riprap, placement of topsoil and hydraulic seeding, pavement lines and markings, regulatory signs and supply all aggregate and asphalt material from outside of the Park. TWO STAGE SELECTION PROCESS This posting is the Stage Two of a two-stage solicitation process: the first stage was to evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers. The second stage (Stage Two) is to invite the qualified suppliers to provide further qualifications and a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid. Potential and interested sub-contractors are invited to add their company’s name under the section “Partner with another business”.
