By securing additional investment the programme will drive significant patronage growth on our network as we prepare for the implementation of Mass Rapid Transit. This will build on existing work, for example the indicative programme developed through the PT Futures Indicative business case. We anticipate that this is a 13-month project in total, starting March 2026 with the final investment case to be delivered July 2027. There are two sprints: • The first between March 2026 - December 2026 (10 months). • The second sprint runs from May 2027 – July 2027 (3 months).
