Tender summary
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to award a contract to the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), 401 Michigan Avenue, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60611 under other than full and open competition for a 1-year period beginning January 1, 2026. The contract is for annual accreditation of DHA graduate medical education programs across the DHA enterprise. "Graduate medical education" refers to the period of education in a particular specialty (residency) or subspecialty (fellowship) following medical school. ACGME s an independent, 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization that sets and monitors voluntary professional educational standards essential in preparing physicians to deliver safe, high-quality medical care to all Americans. The ACGME is the single accreditor for graduate medical education in the United States. Award will be made under class Justification and Approval JA-24-0328, approved on November 14, 2024, and covering a period of 6 years, beginning January 1, 2025.
