Introduction Procurement Title: Consultancy Firm Consultancy Title: Updating of Guyana’s National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) and Preparation of the 7th National Report to the Convention on Biological Diversity Type of Contract: Contract for Goods and/or Services of a Firm Duration of Assignment: 9 months Assignment Location: Georgetown, The Co-operative Republic of Guyana Language Required: English Scope of Tender: UNDP is seeking the support of a team of Technical Specialists, ideally through a consultancy firm, to support the revision and updating of Guyana’s National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) and the preparation of the 7th National Report (7NR) in alignment with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF). The firm will address critical gaps in biodiversity governance by conducting comprehensive assessments, providing actionable recommendations, and aligning policies and strategies with national and international biodiversity goals. The firm will aim to create an enabling environment for effective biodiversity conservation and sustainable use, with a focus on coherence, institutional effectiveness, and stakeholder collaboration.
