Proposals must involve a sporting or recreational activity consistent with the site's status as a Recreation Reserve under the Reserves Act 1977. The land will remain in Council ownership. The types of activities being sought, and the conditions respondents must meet in submitting an ROI are outlined in the ROI document. Depending on the type of activity, some existing infrastructure may be divested. The ROI is the first step in the process and may lead to a more detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) for shortlisted applicants. Documents are available on the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS) www.gets.govt.nz. Any enquiries about this offer must be made via www.gets.co.nz.
