Included in this complex are research laboratories at all Biosafety Levels up to and including Biosafety Levels 3 and 4, animal care and use facilities, a clinical research facility, administrative offices, and industrial shops and services. These activities are located on the main NIH campus in Bethesda, MD, the Baltimore/Washington area, the Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Montana, and the Integrated Research Facility in Frederick, MD. The NIH Division of Occupational Health and Safety (DOHS) is responsible for conducting a comprehensive intramural safety program to create and maintain a safe and healthy environment for NIH patients, employees, visitors, and guest workers.This firm-fixed price contract is for support of all NIH locations in Maryland, including NIAID Integrated Research Facility (IRF) at Fort Detrick, MD; Bethesda Main Campus; leased facilities in Montgomery County, MD; Poolesville, MD and Baltimore, MD. This contract also covers NIAID Rocky Mountain Laboratory (RML) in Hamilton, MT.
