Tender summary
Program Manager, Engineer Systems (ES), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is conducting market research for the potential sources of a Six-Containers (SIXCON) Pump Module replacement as an improvement for the current system. The legacy SIXCON system is currently used heavily for fuel support across the Fleet Marine Forces. This system consists of a SIXCON Fuel Tank Module and SIXCON Fuel Pump Module. A complete Fuel SIXCON System consists of five tank modules and one pump module that can be configured into an ISO/ANSI 19.8 X 8 X 8-foot system. The pump module provides refueling and defueling capabilities for aircraft and ground vehicles, while each fuel tank module provides 900 gallons of storage capacity. Furthermore, it provides a recirculation capability that filters contaminants and removes water from the fuel stored in the Fuel Tank Modules, enabling the fuel to meet military specification standards.
