RFx ID: 32026294Organisation: CITY CARE LIMITEDOpen date: Monday, 14 July 2025 10:00 AM +12:00Close date: Wednesday, 13 August 2025 4:00 PM +12:00Categories: 43230000 - SoftwareRegion: New ZealandOverview: City Care Ltd (Citycare) is a leading national provider of maintenance, management, and construction services across New Zealand’s built environment. Our two businesses, Citycare Water and Citycare Property, provide infrastructure services to over two million New Zealanders from 16 locations throughout the country and have an annual turnover in excess of $300m. We have embarked on a journey to implement the technical infrastructure needed to support these businesses today and into the future. This EOI is targeted at finding technical partners to support Citycare on their journey. Context • Citycare is seeking proposals for the supply, implementation and support of a Vendor Management System Solution. • The solution must integrate with Citycare’s corporate system(s). • Citycare is seeking a purpose-built, configurable software Vendor Management System. We require a modern, cloud-based solution that manages vendors starting the onboarding stage and includes tracking, analytics, reporting, compliance and collaboration. We want a platform that can seamlessly integrate with our ERP system and provide robust and integrated capabilities. • Citycare is seeking a committed long-term delivery partner that understands more than just technology; appreciating the complexity, the risks and the need for a comprehensive and integrated solution across the Citycare operating environment. • Citycare began work on CAS, their custom-built in-house contractor management system, following the Canterbury Earthquakes in 2010 and 2011. This tool met the requirements of the time, but the business now hopes to leverage a system that will have out-of-the-box functionality to address their use cases across all vendor management and so cut down on custom development. • Citycare works with many well-known businesses around the country both as a supplier and a customer, so it will need to integrate the Vendor Management System across a range of scenarios. Key innovations we are looking for: • The capability to streamline tasks and workflows. • Managing large-scale subcontractors, who may have their own Vendor Management Systems • Use of smart data and AI e.g., there is the opportunity to use data from smart devices and AI. • Reporting / dashboards, particularly for surfacing information and insights to the business. • A system that has data connectors for modern analytics platforms. • Ability to work with Microsoft SSO technology City Care Ltd (Citycare) is a leading national provider of maintenance, management, and construction services across New Zealand’s built environment.
