NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the items detailed below: GSIN: N1040 – Chemical Weapons and Equipment, Flame Throwers, and Smoke Generators UNSPSC: 46100000 – Light weapons and ammunition Description: Smoke Pot 3 Minute White A requirement exists to resupply the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) with the Smoke Pot 3 Minute White. The Smoke Pot 3 Minute White is designed for use in firefighter training, as a wind drift indicator and testing of ventilation systems. It is also used in signaling aircraft, ships and personnel on the ground. Firm Quantity: 5,000 units – Delivery to Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Dundurn, Saskatchewan on or before 01 September 2026 5,000 units – Delivery to CFAD Angus, Milton, Ontario on or before 01 September 2026 Optional Quantity: 5,000 cartridges – Delivery to Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Dundurn, Saskatchewan between 01 June 2028 and 01 September 2028 5,000 cartridges – Delivery to Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Dundurn, Saskatchewan between 01 June 2030 and 01 September 2030 5,000 units – Delivery to CFAD Angus, Milton, Ontario between 01 June 2028 and 01 September 2028 5,000 units – Delivery to CFAD Angus, Milton, Ontario between 01 June 2030 and 01 September 2030 Unit of Issue: Each, per unit 1. Security Requirements There are no security requirements associated with this procurement. 2. Controlled Goods This procurement is not subject to the Controlled Goods Program. 3. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. 4. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. 5. Barring any other conditions or international sanctions, Canadian Suppliers, Suppliers of an Applicable Trading Partner and Suppliers of a Non-Trading Partner, are eligible for this solicitation of offers.
