Summary

The HUS Group requests tenders for MLH1 methylation tests. The procurement includes the following group: - Product group 1: MLH1 promotor methylation tests The procurement has not been divided into parts. The estimated number of MLH1 promotor methylation tests per year would be around 100. The product is described in more detail in invitation to tender and in Appendix 2 (Price and product form). In the sub-area/product group 1 the most economically advantageous tender shall be selected. The criterion for determining the most economically advantageous tender shall be the best price-quality ratio. Price is weighted at 80 % and quality is weighted at 20 %. The comparison criteria for sub-area/product group 1, how to perform the comparison, and the related calculation formulas are described in more detail in the "General criteria of the group" section. HUS will select two (2) contract suppliers in the ranking order of the tenderers. More information about the order of priority and its formation can be found in the section "Grounds for decision". The goal of this competitive procurement is to get products that are safe to use. The goal is also to have good product delivery reliability and to have products available when they are needed. During the contract period, products belonging to the product group that are the subject of the contract, may be acquired in accordance with the estimated value of the contract, also when they are not specified in the Appendix 2 Product and price form (please see Agreement). The Agreement is in force for a fixed period of 3 years, and thereafter until terminated. The aim is to bring the agreement into force as soon as possible after the procurement procedure has been completed. The estimated starting day for the contract period is 27.02.2026 The products requested in this invitation to tender will be used by the Genetics Laboratory of the HUS Diagnostic Center (Helsinki University Hospital, HUS Group). See Appendix 1 (Agreement) of the call for tenders for details. The total estimated value of the procurement (VAT 0%) is approximately EUR 80 000 for 48 months. This is an estimate and the contracting entity does not commit neither to the stated euro amounts and nor the consumption figures indicated in the invitation to tender. The final order quantities may be higher or lower than stated. The subject matter and requirements of the procurement are described in detail in the invitation to tender and its annexes.
