Tender summary
RFx ID: 32994135 Organisation: New Plymouth District Council Open date: Wednesday, 12 November 2025 2:00 PM +13:00 Close date: Friday, 12 December 2025 12:00 PM +13:00 Categories: 26000000 - Power Generation and Distribution Machinery and Accessories 32000000 - Electronic Components and Supplies 39000000 - Electrical Systems and Lighting and Components and Accessories and Supplies Region: Taranaki Overview: What we need NPDC is seeking information regarding experienced providers with the capability and capacity to install, operate and maintain electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at 4-6 designated car parks at the Tūparikino Hub. The Tūparikino Hub is a precinct which will include a new six court indoor arena, the TSB Stadium, the New Plymouth Raceway and Pukekura Park within a central location in Ngāmotu/New Plymouth. With an estimated daily visitor volume of 1,000–2,000 people, and higher attendance during events and race days, the Hub presents a compelling opportunity to integrate accessible EV charging infrastructure into a high-traffic, community-focused environment. By participating you could have the opportunity to align your brand and help drive the transition to low energy transport. Having your infrastructure installed at car parks outside a busy community hub offers exposure and meaningful impact.
